Reckoning time by the new moon-the full moon

Reckoning can be defined as the action or process of established calculating or estimating something. In the Israelite community, there are a few different point of views concerning calculating the Feast Days of Yahuah. Many observe different calendrical systems and will argue concerning them. Some hold to the dark moon as the new moon, some the 1st visible crescent, the Hillel calendar, and others, like us-the full moon. We, at Empowered by Truth Ministries, are not in any conflict or debate with any other group observing a different system than we do. We believe, when the Mashiach returns, we all will be under the correct calendrical system/moon cycle to determine the appointed times. What's most important is that we are attempting as best as we can to please Yahuah by observing something. At the end of the day, we have to give Yah something to work with. The bible says in Bereshiyth (Genesis) 1:14-15 that he set the lights in the heavens as moedim (appointed times) for us to follow. Yahuah establishes biblically, the start of the month and feast days by observance of the moon. A new month means a new moon. No matter what school of thought you have on this; it's important that we teach and share why we observe the full moon as the new moon. These 2 lessons, go in much detail that perhaps you've never heard before or considered. Our goal is to leave no stone unturned. Agree or disagree, as the Word teaches, "Let us hear the conclusion of the matter..." Ecclesiastes 12:13 and establish your belief from there. This lesson is to inform you on our position and what we've discovered. We are students of The Word and always seeking for the truth of Yah. Come learn with us and take plenty of notes
