What happens at death?

There's no greater mystery in my opinion, that's larger than this question.  Many are absolutely infatuated with exploring the depths of what happens at death. We have depictions from all cultures, notably the Greek culture, that highlights what comes after death. It's interesting that the beliefs of the church, as well as biblical doctrine, is taught from the Greek/Roman perspective. But is this idea true to the authors that penned the bible? The scriptures (front/foundation of the bible) were written by Hebrews and the New testament predominantly by Hebrews. So, if Hebrews are the foundation and wrote scriptures, then we have to approach the text of the bible from their perspective. It is erroneous to read another nation's perspective into a text, that is completely different from the text examined. We will be looking at every verse (well mostly at least) showing how the ancient Israelites viewed death, before Greek influence. Passages such as the rich man and Lazarus, souls under the altar, etc. will be examined. We will be examining the concept of Heaven and Hell. We'll be examining what happens when we die. Are we going to a place in the sky embroidered with clouds (Heaven), or a large fiery terrain under the earth (Hell) after death? Are we going to experience soul sleep or an reincarnation after death? These questions will be answered in this 2 part series, explaining this mystery from the ancient Hebrew perspective. This is going to challenge your view on this subject. "Accusation before investigation, is the highest form of ignorance"- Albert Einstein. Open your mind and heart to see how this looks from the biblical perspective. I've learned that people believe, what they believe they believe. However, we're going to allow the scriptures to speak for itself. Let's hold what we believe to the light of the word, for truth to be magnified.  Without further ado, let's get it!
